You'll have a chance to customize your fundraising page to let supporters know why Hao-Fountain Syndrome Awareness is important to you and fund research for a treatment or a cure!
What is Hao-Fountain Syndrome?
Hao-Fountain Syndrome is a neurodevelopmental disorder caused by a mutation of the USP7 gene. The USP7 gene is a protein-coding gene that plays a role in tumor suppression, transcriptional regulation, immune response, and endosomal protein recycling. Mutations are either point mutations or gene deletions. Currently, there are less than 200 people world-wide with this diagnosis. You can learn more about Hao-Fountain Syndrome by visiting our website at www.usp7.org.
